HTTPS and changes to XpressU login

You are here:

Online security is important. In the fight against hacking, banks in particular have used security certificates and data encryption. This is becoming a standard and Google Chrome will soon display a warning if a website is “not secure”.

What does “not sure” mean?
"Not secure" means that a website does not have a specific security certificate. You could always tell if a website was secure by the fact that it said HTTPS instead of HTTP.

HTTPS or Secure HTTP is an encryption method that secures the connection between your browser and the server. This makes it harder for hackers to eavesdrop on the connection. To protect the data transfer, a secure connection must be established. This is where SSL and HTTPS come into play.
Each website is issued a unique SSL certificate for identification. If a server claims to be on HTTPS and its certificate doesn't match, most modern browsers will warn the user about connecting to the website.

XpressU has had a security certificate installed and is now running HTTPS! What does this mean for you?

– That your data and presentations are better secured.
– That your recipients don't get a warning when they are about to view your presentations.
– That it will be easier for you to log in. (see “Changes to login”)

Should I do something?
You don't need to do anything. All your presentations will still work.

TIP : For your own sake, we generally recommend that you use the latest browsers and let them update when they ask you to.

Changes to login

At the same time, we have changed the address for XpressU accounts. Previously, each XpressU account had its own domain. For example, builder.mitdomaene.xpressu.dk.
From now on, you just need to type builder.xpressu.dk and you will be taken to a login screen.
We have of course made sure that your previous address still works. Furthermore, we have added a login button for XpressU from the website so that you always have an easy way.
