Top menus

 The previous Top Menu was divided into Personal and Shared Presentations and Media.

Due to a new Sharing Structure, the Top Menu has become cleaner and more manageable.

Sharing within your Organization

We have improved the way Media and Presentations are shared within your Organization. This will give you better visibility, more control, and increased security.

To share an item before, it had to be placed in My or Shared . This way, everyone had the same shared media.
But it was difficult to know who was the real owner.

Sharing is now decided directly on the Presentation or Media. The overview can be seen directly in the Library, as all topics are on the same page. They just have different markings.

Media you've shared with others has a green checkmark . Media others have shared with you has a yellow checkmark . All others are private.

A more manageable dialog box

The previously long Presentation Dialog box is divided logically into 5 tabs

Info : Title and Message to the audience displayed at the Welcome Screen

Settings : Security setup, as well as what recipients must fill out if they want to see the Presentation

Questionnaire : Settings related to Questionnaires in the Presentation

Sharing : How you want to share the Presentation

Publishing : Multiple ways to publish your Presentation

Security

Several ways to ensure that only selected people see your Presentations.

Expires : After this date, the Presentation will automatically close.

Two-step verification with PIN code : Recipients must enter an email and will be sent a PIN code that must be entered to view the Presentation.

( Lock to domain @ ): … can be further selected in relation to the PIN code email. This means that only users with the domain in question can view the Presentation.

Password Protect : Choose a password that recipients must enter. If you send the Presentation, the password will be sent with it.

Downloadable : You can allow recipients to download the presentation so they can run it offline.

Be aware of changes to your Presentation

A big advantage of XpressU is the ability to update Media and Presentations continuously, after which recipients will see them immediately. But it can also be a bit “scary” when you have to change something.

Therefore, we have introduced a warning when opening a published Presentation.

In case of saving, the [Notify users] button appears.
With it, you can quickly send an email to everyone who has received the Presentation via email.
