Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using XpressU.
If you are registering for XpressU on behalf of a company, you acknowledge that you have the authority to do so.
Your access to and use of XpressU is conditioned on your acceptance and compliance with these Terms of Service and our handling of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We reserve the right to change or replace these terms at any time at our sole discretion. The current Terms will be available on the XpressU website. In the event of changes, we will endeavor to provide approximately 14 days notice. Use of XpressU after a change to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the changed Terms. It is your responsibility to keep yourself updated regarding changes to the Terms. These Terms are subject to Danish law and any dispute arising from the subscription, including these Terms, shall be brought before the City Court in Copenhagen.
1. Use
1.1 You hereby receive a non-exclusive license to use XpressU, which is made available online as “ software as a service ”.
1.1.1 If your XpressU account is of the “Course” type, a 12-month agreement has been entered into for a fixed number of “students”. If this is significantly exceeded, we reserve the right to adjust the price. However, only after a written request.
1.2 You must ensure that XpressU is not used in a manner that may damage XpressU's reputation, goodwill, or that is in violation of the law.
1.3 Each account is linked to 1 user with 1 email address. It is not allowed to share your account with other people. XpressU can only be logged in to one place with the email in question.
Protect your password and do not give it to others.
You must not

- sell
- resell
- transfer
- hand over
- distribute
- provide security in or otherwise transfer rights to XpressU, or parts thereof.
- copy
- duplicate
- Sending spam
- Attach viruses or other malicious software
- Creating fake profiles or impersonating another identity
- Reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, or decompile XpressU for commercial purposes.
The above list is an example. There may be cases of harmful use of XpressU that are not mentioned in the list, so these will apply equally.
In case of violation of the above, or unforeseen use of XpressU, we reserve the right to suspend the account, or terminate it. See the section Termination.
1.4 If your use of XpressU by simple negligence results in operating losses, consequential damages or other indirect losses arising as a result, we cannot be held liable.
2. Copyright
2.1 Respect copyright. Only upload material that you have created yourself or that you have permission to use.
2.2 We do not allow content that in any way promotes or condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, national origin, veteran status, or sexual orientation/gender identity, or whose primary purpose is to incite hatred based on these characteristics. This can be a delicate balance, but if the primary purpose of the content is to attack a protected group, then it crosses the line.
In the event that we believe the limit has been exceeded, we will request removal of the content. If this requirement is not met within 72 hours, we will remove the content and possibly suspend the account.
Remember: When sharing with others, think about what you are sharing and how it might be received.
2.3 XpressU may contain links to third-party websites or services.
XpressU has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that XpressU shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damages or losses caused by or in connection with the use of services through such websites.
We advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit.
3. Access and Conditions
3.1 We strive to ensure that XpressU is available 24 hours a day.
However, we cannot be held responsible if XpressU is unavailable at any time or for any period of time for reasons beyond our control. For example, power outages, equipment failures, internet connections, and the like.
3.2 In these cases, we strive to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
3.3 Planned outages in the form of a maintenance window (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maintenance_window) will preferably be placed in the time period 21:00-06:00 CET. Should it be necessary to interrupt access to XpressU at other times, this will be announced in advance.
4. Customer data
4.1 XpresU converts all data uploaded and does not store original files. We are not responsible or liable for: deletion, correction, destruction, and/or damage to data.
Therefore, always keep a copy of the original material .
4.2 We reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary to enforce and/or ensure compliance with this Agreement. In addition, there may be legitimate requests from authorities requiring access to or disclosure of data.
4.3 You are the data controller for personal data and material you upload and process in XpressU. You own and have free control over this data.
4.4 You agree to indemnify XpressU against any claim or loss arising from product liability, third party loss or liability to third parties to the extent arising from your use of XpressU.
4.5 We undertake to delete your data 30 days after the end of the subscription regardless of the reason, and have no obligation or legal right to retain data after this time.

4.6 In very special cases, where in our opinion it is deemed appropriate and reasonable, we may grant third parties and authorities access to your data. However, only in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation, in connection with a judgment, regulatory requirements, the Customer's bankruptcy, death or similar.
5.0 Changes
5.1 We provide ongoing maintenance in the form of updates, improvements and changes to XpressU. This maintenance will be announced via email, website, social media, or directly in XpressU. In the event that we deem an update to be essential for security, operation or similar, XpressU will be updated without notice. Maintenance may in some cases affect information and data uploaded to or sent by XpressU.
6.0 Payment
6.1 Payment will automatically renew within the payment plan chosen. This can be monthly/annually.
6.2 Invoices are issued in advance for the period and use of XpressU.
6.3 Payment terms are 8 days net from the invoice date.
6.4 If the subscription is not paid on time, a warning will be sent 7 days after the invoice due date.
If the subscription is still not paid, a further warning 2 will be sent 7 days later.
If payment is still not received within 7 days after warning 2, access to XpressU will be blocked. Access to XpressU will be reopened after payment of the subscription has been received, as well as an administration fee of DKK 250.-
7.0 Termination
7.1 We may terminate or suspend access to XpressU, without prior notice, if you breach any of the Terms. No refunds will be given in these cases.
7.2 In the event that the user wishes to terminate the XpressU agreement, termination and cessation of the payment plan will occur at the end of a payment period. Termination is done by sending an email to support@xpressu.dk no later than 30 days before the expiration date of the period.
8.0 Confidentiality
8.1 We are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding all information we may come into possession of regarding you and your company.
8.2 We are not entitled to disclose such information to third parties, unless such information is publicly available or where we are obliged to disclose the information by law or upon order from an authority or court.
9.0 Help and support
9.1 You can find help at support.xpressu.dk . Here you can also get in touch with us via chat.
If we are not available, we will endeavour to respond within normal office hours or within 1-2 days at the latest. Weekends, public holidays etc. are not included.
